WiP Nightclub Sues Drake & Chris Brown for $16 Million After Violent Brawl [NEWS]

This is getting realer by the day.. WiP is suing both Drake and Breezy for damages, claiming they started the massive brawl caused by grudges over "the same woman."
TMZ reports:
Chris Brown and Drake are now a team -- both are defendants in a lawsuit just filed by the owners of the nightclub which was the site of the June 14th, bottle throwing, bloody brawl.

Entertainment Enterprises Ltd., the company that owns WiP nightclub in NYC, claims in the suit that both stars "shared a grudge against the other arising out of their romantic relationships with the same woman." In case you were vacationing under a rock ... it's Rihanna.

EEL claims in the suit -- obtained by the New York Post -- when Drake and Brown crossed paths, they "began to fight violently with each other."

The suit goes on ... "Each arrived with his own small army of bodyguards, 'security' personnel, employees, friends and other members of their entourage consisting of at least 15 heavily built men trained and/or experienced in hand-to-hand and weapons combat."

Fight Erupts on Court at Spain v. France Basketball Quarterfinal (2012 Olympics) [VIDEO]

France's Nicolas Batum sucker hit Spain's captain Juan Carlos Navarro with just 23 seconds left in the Olympic quarterfinal match.. Emotions ran high as Spain went on a 10-0 run giving Spain the lead at 57-64 and with only a play or two left. France's Batum, likely out of frustration, ran up behind Navarro who had possession and swung at his midsection from behind. Both teams stormed the court and the refs were able to break the two apart though it took some time to calm both sides down. Batum received an unsportsmanlike foul and the final score of 59-66 favored Spain. Spain will now advance to the semifinals where they will play against Russia, who beat Lithuania earlier today.. Sorry for the lack of audio but I had to set this up quickly so I wouldn't miss it hopefully another video will come up with sound, but for now you can still see what transpired.

After destroying the screaming banshee in a match that only took one hour to complete, Serena Williams claimed the court as her own by paying tribute to her hometown of Compton.   The champion celebrated her victory with a quick Crip Walk ..... Fuck yeah, 'Murica! (Fun fact: Serena is the only woman besides Steffi Graff to complete a career Golden Slam.

Snoop Dogg Records New Reggae Album, is Now "Snoop Lion" + Howard Stern Commentary [VIDEO]

VICE Films, in partnership with Snoopadelic Films, presents Reincarnated. This documentary follows Snoop Dogg as he journeys to Jamaica to record an album with Diplo. While there, Snoop finds himself embraced by the Jamaican people, is positively impacted by Rastafarian culture, and becomes reincarnated as Snoop Lion.  Watch the trailer above.  Reincarnated will premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival September 7th.  Check out Snoop Lion's new single "La La La" on iTunes.  Howard Stern had a positive take on Snoop's new image, hear him and sidekick Robin discuss the news and listen to some of Lion's new tunes on the air this week in the stream below.

Jay-Z & Beyonce Renting Hamptons Digs Featured on "Teen Cribs" [NEWS/VIDEO]

According to the New York Post, Bey & Jay have rented the Sandcastle Estate in Bridgehampton for the month of August at a staggering $400,000! The gorgeous compound features an insane amount of extras including a bowling alley, 60-ft heated indoor pool, a rock climbing wall, a spa & gym, and of course a recording studio. There's too much excess to mention but luckily this home was featured on an episode of MTV's "Teen Cribs" back in 2009. Watch the full episode and try not to drool.. This is what $12,900 per day will get you. Baby Blue will be along for the ride but something tells me she won't remember a damn thing about this vacay (see: infant amnesia).. Rock The Bells 2012 Line-up & Details Announced! [NEWS]

So it seems Rock The Bells is catering to a more diverse crowd of hip hop fans.. Usually a festival for more purist hip hop heads.. This year Guerilla Union decided to add more mainstream acts like Wiz Khalifa, J Cole, Mac Miller, Tyga, 2 Chainz and more onto the bill (on the MAIN STAGE at that).. I'm going to let my disappointment of Guerilla Union's seemingly "sellout" actions, I'll say there are AMAZING things planned for the concert with some of the best hip hop artists in history..  Major highlights include Bone Thugs performing E. 1999 Eternal, Red & Meth performing their "Blackout" album, another Hit Squad reunion, plus a Missy & Timbaland Set, Dipset, Ice Cube, E-40 & Too Short, Big Daddy Kane, Salt-n- Pepa, Naughty By Nature and more.. And I can't tell you how happy I am that the shows wont be at Governor's Island (ferry ride back was HELL).. As for tickets, the Mountain View stop has a presale tomorrow (Thurs 5/17), while San Francisco & NYC have presales on Friday (5/18).. The public will be able to purchase regular or VIP tickets this Saturday, May 19 on Livenation.com..

Been meaning to put up these "Rappers Review Movies" videos for a minute.. Check out this review of Sacha Baron Cohen's newest comedy by Lefrak's own Noreaga.. "The Dictator" hits theaters today nationwide - I'm looking forward to see what Cohen put together for his first fully scripted movie..

Nicki decided to paint her face all colors of the rainbow and incorporate some matching SpinArt splatter (i swear that's what I painted my room like when I was 12)... Yeah this may be a little much to but I can see this cover appealing to a much younger set of girls [I would definitely want this at 8 years old if I saw it in the Wiz (yes, it was a real place!)]... According to TMZ, Jim Jones got into an unwanted brawl after a stanger punched him in the face. In the video above you see Jim Jones scrapping and trying to escape the drama as things were getting out of hand... There's a lot of chaos going on but shit looks like a mess. To make things worse, Jones was so heated it took 5 cops and mace to subdue him. He was subsequently arrested and released on $40,000 bond later on. Jones later tweeted about the incident and videos of the fight has just surfaced.

Music Legend Whitney Houston Dies at Age 48 + Final Performance [NEWS/VIDEO]

After rumors were spreading quickly on the internet, Whitney Houston's publicist confirmed the news that the 48-year old singer was found dead in her Beverly Hills Hotel room. I still can't believe that she's actually gone.. it's been a rough decade or so for her and while we were all rooting for Whitney's success, she was often caught up with personal demons. The cause of death has not yet been confirmed so stay tuned for more details. Prayers go out to Ms. Houston's daughter, family and friends who must be devastated by the loss. A couple of nights ago, Whitney attended ‘Kelly Price & Friends Unplugged: For The Love of R&B’ pre-Grammy party at Tru Hollywood. She joined her ‘Heartbreak Hotel’ collaborator Kelly Price for a live rendition of ‘Jesus Loves Me’. It was Whitney's last performance before her untimely death. -more details @ abc

Madonna Talks MIA's Superbowl Controversy, Upcoming Tour, MDNA & New Movie [AUDIO]

Madonna called "On Air With Ryan Seacrest" earlier today to talk about her Superbowl show, her 12th studio album MDNA, Britney Spears, her upcoming film W.E. and more.

On MIA's obscene gesture (skip to 7:20): “To tell you the truth, I didn’t even know about it. I actually didn’t know until I left… I found out about it in the elevator on my way to go to the car to get to the airport. I was really surprised. I didn’t know anything about it. I wasn’t happy about it, because for me — I understand it’s kind of punk rock and everything — but to me there was such a feeling of love and good energy and positivity. It seemed negative. It’s one of those things that’s such a teenager, kind of, irrelevant thing to do in one respect. But on the other, there was such a feeling of love and unity there. What was the point? It was just out of place.”

On performing "Like A Prayer": “It was actually very emotional for me. I almost starting crying. I felt an incredible sense of — I know it sounds cheesy, but — warmth, love, support. Everybody turning on their flashlights, holding up their phones, to see the entire stadium lit up like candles with the video-mapping over us and the choir singing around me — it was like a religious experience.” she also said of her co-performer, “I love Cee Lo. I’ve always loved his voice. I feel like he’s someone really up and coming, interesting.”

On her new tour and single (skip to 14:20): I am having auditions all next week. Then I’m going to shoot the video for ‘Girls Gone Wild’ after that, then I start rehearsals." She shut down rumors of a Britney Spear feature, saying "No, it’s just little ol’ me."

On her new album MDNA: “...a lot of up tempo [music], but I also have three ballads which I haven’t done in a while. Something for everyone!” Preorder the album now, due out March 26th!
