Kanye has been rocking these for the past few months but no release date has been announced, though it looks like the design and construction have been set (all there's left to do is manufacture/distribute!). Nike SB is proud to announce the global launch of the Zoom Paul Rodriguez 4 on 8/21/2010. This year we brought Paul to New York to hit the streets and spend time in the studio with one of his idols, hip-hop legend NAS. The result is a 60-second commercial, directed by Nike SB's own Jon Humphries, following Paul's journey through iconic New York City skate spots, accompanied by music and a voiceover from Nas.

KICKS: Nike Air Force 1 x Jay-Z "All Black Everything" (Very Limited)

As part of the inaugural World Basketball Festival – brought together by Converse, the Jordan Brand and Nike Basketball – recording artist JAY-Z will take the stage at New York’s Radio City Music Hall on Thursday August 12, 2010, following an on-court showcase featuring finalists for the 2010 USA Basketball World Championship Team.

In addition to his performance, JAY-Z has joined forces with Nike to create an iconic collection of Air Force Ones – the All Black Everything collection inspired by the World Basketball Festival. Nike has donated the shoes to the Shawn Carter Scholarship Foundation who in turn have linked up with eBay on a charity auction that begins on August 12th at www.ebay.com/jayznikewbf. Only two pairs of each of the five designs will be created, one for the winning bidder and one for the man behind the design, JAY-Z.

The entire Radio City Music Hall basketball and musical performance will stream live on http://www.facebook.com/wbf beginning at 6:30 p.m. EDT until its conclusion.

KICKS OF THE DAY: Nike Air Force 1 Hi White/White-Sport Red

This pair was revealed last month and were slated for a July Release. They have already begun to hit stores nationwide.

Like so many Forces that have come before this, the entire upper is white leather. The toe and heel panels are treated to the tumbled variety though, slightly breaking up all the white. Another prized design element is the gum outsole, which happens to sit underneath this pair. The only actual Sport Red elements found are on the tongue tag and heel embroidery.

KICKS: Nike Air Max 24/7 - Eggplant [Spring 2011]

Finally a foamposite I definitely can rock without feelin like got moonshoes on!

The “Eggplant” colorway has seen thorough use in Nike Basketball kicks like the Nike Air Foamposite One, Big Nike High, and an upcoming Nike Air 1/2 Cent, but how about an Air Max shoe? Peep this Nike Air Max 24/7 in an Eggplant colorway; taking after all the other Eggplant releases, this 24/7 features hints of black and silver. The question is: is it Foamposite? Based on the stitching it doesn’t look to be, but it could be a similar faux-Foam material used on the Nike Foamposite Blazer that released in 2009. Does Nike have another Foamposite hybrid trick up its sleeve? -Sneakernews

DJ AM x Nike Dunk High Premium

These shoes pay tribute to the late DJ AM. They are made of red leather on the toebox, side panel and ankle while black patent leather lines the mudguard and heel. The stylized heel also features perforated detailing that mimics the sides of a turntable. The silver swoosh implies a the tone arm of the turntable. Nike Blazer High Nylon

Introducing another hot version of Nike's popular Blazer model. The entirety of the upper is constructed of black nylon with bits of matching leather on the eyestays and forefoot accent piece. The heel panel and Swoosh are both white leather for contrast. The tongue is nylon, too, and the traditional Blazer sole is black here.

Expect these to have wide availability sometime in the near future, but are available now on eBay.

The third installment of the Varsity Bones collection is titled “The Thriller” from Royalefam and SBTG. Its a homage to the late, great King of Pop and is inspried by Michael Jackson’s Thriller short film. The shoe itself features an upper inspired by the films red leather jacket, studded collars, black satin, and a zipper baseline. The sneaker will be available on October 5th on the Royalefam site.

Nike Air Max Light "Tecmo Bo"

The Air Max Light “Tecmo Bo” is a nice tribute to Bo’s accomplishments in 1989 (also when the original AM Light was released), but also a shout out to his video game franchises on NES and Game Boy. The shoe itself is a clean and simple interpretation using the Kansas City colorway, featuring a white midsole, white leather and mesh upper, and royal blue to fill out the rest of the shoe. The mudguard also has a contrasting, but subtle pixel print to add to the simplicity of the shoe.

Nike Air Pegasus '89

Nike has released yet another colorway of the infamous Air Pegasus ‘89 which is now available at select retailers such as Standard.

It features a predominately white base with multiple varsity purple accents in the form of the shoelaces, tongue logo and midsole. However, one of the more interesting features on this shoe is the unique shaped pattern design on the heel and side panels.
