Jay-Z & Beyonce Renting Hamptons Digs Featured on "Teen Cribs" [NEWS/VIDEO]
According to the New York Post, Bey & Jay have rented the Sandcastle Estate in Bridgehampton for the month of August at a staggering $400,000! The gorgeous compound features an insane amount of extras including a bowling alley, 60-ft heated indoor pool, a rock climbing wall, a spa & gym, and of course a recording studio. There's too much excess to mention but luckily this home was featured on an episode of MTV's "Teen Cribs" back in 2009. Watch the full episode and try not to drool.. This is what $12,900 per day will get you. Baby Blue will be along for the ride but something tells me she won't remember a damn thing about this vacay (see: infant amnesia).. This Saturday, I was relaxing at home while the Olympics played in the background on my television.. While eating some amazing Lenny & John's, I began to (somewhat) watch the USA v. Korea women's volleyball game. After about a half hour (gotta digest), I went outside and took a quick swim in the pool while the TV was still on.. When I came back inside and went upstairs to change, I my hear my friend yelling from the living room, "Whaaat!?!?" "This is f*cking crazy!" "Lauren, you have to come see this!!" I run downstairs, not sure what was happening, when all of the sudden I turn to the television and start to watch something I had never seen before. There are nets and goalies on both sides of a court but it's not soccer or lacrosse... The women on both teams are running back and forth across the court at high speed, throwing a ball with one hand to their respective teammates with unbelievable precision. As I continued watching, I start to see some elements of basketball "Oh shit! Was that an ale-yoop?" "What a crossover!" Whatever was going on I was fascinated and needed to know what the hell was happening on my TV. My friend, who was equally as drawn to this foreign sight, went on the Olympic website to find out what exactly it was that we were watching. Turns out it's Handball (otherwise known as Team Handball, European Handball or Olympic Handball)! No, not the sport city kids play in the summer with their worn out skybounce (known as American Handball), this is on a whole other level. I'm not going to get too detailed with the rules (which you can see here or here), but you can get a better understanding of the game if you view the court diagram below while watching some plays.

Seems like Britain has the same idea :) Moreover, looks like Jonathan Tjarks of SBNation.com as well as Aaron Morton of Deseretnews.com about this subject the #samedamntime as me.. Can this thrilling sport pick up steam in the U.S. like is around the rest of the world? Time will tell if the hype and interest in Team Handball will continue to increase.

UK's The Guardian has introduced an exclusive series called "Brick-By-Brick" which uses Lego stop animation to reconstruct sports game highlights, including those from the most recent World Cup. The British news provider continues their creative tradition in their newest video above featuring Lego versions of USA superstars, Lebron James, Kevin Durant, Tony Parker (playing for France) and more. Kendrick spoke on balancing his journey to stardom with his focus on the music, his Top Dawg Entertainment family behind the scenes, tour life, “The Recipe” and finding the right single, and his upcoming album. When “Cut You Off” came up in discussion, I had to ask him about his motivations behind that one too since it’s one of my favorite records of the last 5 years or so. 50 Cent - 5 (Murder By Numbers) (Full LP) [NEW MUSIC]
We're baaaacck. 50 decided to drop his new LP for free tonight amid label difficulties.. 5 was slated to be his fifth commercial release but problems between the rapper and Interscope brought him to give away the project on his 37th birthday (today, July 6th). 50 will still be releasing "Street King Immortal" in November.
