So it seems Rock The Bells is catering to a more diverse crowd of hip hop fans.. Usually a festival for more purist hip hop heads.. This year Guerilla Union decided to add more mainstream acts like Wiz Khalifa, J Cole, Mac Miller, Tyga, 2 Chainz and more onto the bill (on the MAIN STAGE at that).. I'm going to let my disappointment of Guerilla Union's seemingly "sellout" actions, I'll say there are AMAZING things planned for the concert with some of the best hip hop artists in history.. Major highlights include Bone Thugs performing E. 1999 Eternal, Red & Meth performing their "Blackout" album, another Hit Squad reunion, plus a Missy & Timbaland Set, Dipset, Ice Cube, E-40 & Too Short, Big Daddy Kane, Salt-n- Pepa, Naughty By Nature and more.. And I can't tell you how happy I am that the shows wont be at Governor's Island (ferry ride back was HELL).. As for tickets, the Mountain View stop has a presale tomorrow (Thurs 5/17), while San Francisco & NYC have presales on Friday (5/18).. The public will be able to purchase regular or VIP tickets this Saturday, May 19 on Livenation.com..
