R.I.P MCA - Adam Yauch 1964-2012
Philanthropist, Hip-Hop pioneer and Beastie Boys' member Adam Yauch passed away this morning at the age of 47 after a three year battle with cancer.. We would first like to thank Adam for his contributions to hip hop, the culture wouldn't be the same without the Beastie Boys. As a Brooklynite this hits hard and I remember the Beasties were the first rap group I was realy allowed to listen to since they were Jews too.. :) Condolences and prayers go out to the family and friends of the late legend MCA.
