Yea I know it's been a minute guys. I've been busy and hope the holiday season has been treating you all right.. Some technical difficulties plus some 'real world' business needed to be deal with and I also wanted to reevaluate some aspects of the site.. After three and a half years online, waterblocknyc.com will be slowly but surely be making some noticeable changes.. For right now, there will be no major redesigns but I will be postng more diverse content, with more entertainments news and other things I think are interesting, not only pertaining to hip hop (though there will be no shortage of that here)-- In other words, we will still focus on music but will be rolling out more categories soon so you can be more informed and entertained while on waterblocknyc.com. Thanks for visiting and hope you will enjoy the new content we will be offering. This is just an informal post to kick off the end of my short sabbatical. The game plan is still in draft mode but I didn't want to keep anyone in the dark and have visitors think that the site is now defunct. Also, I am working on a post that will cover some of our missed posts from the past 2 weeks so that will be up when it's ready but we will be moving forward from now on. Again, thanks for staying loyal and I hope you enjoy our the upgraded material which will be more visible in the coming days. If you have any suggestions, comments, requests, etc please let me know as I want to turn this into an experience rather than just another blog.

Anyway, anyone who knows me or follows my twitter feed knows of my allegiance toward all things Howard Stern (Hey now). I'm glad he's been getting his due lately and today came the ultimate announcement: Howard will be the newest judge for 'America's Got Talent!' The rumors had been swirling for around a month with a $20mil salary figure attached but Howard strung us along until he signed the contract. No world on the actual compensation but it is confirmed that the King Of All Media will be coming back to your television sets next year! Check out the official announcement from today's live show on Howard 100 (Sirius XM). audio spotted at shabooty.com
