NEWS: Rihanna to Make Big Screen Acting Debut in "Battleship"

Today Rihanna's rep confirmed to E! News that Rihanna is signed on to act in her first feature film role for the movie Battleship, based on the classic board game of the same name. The cast includes Taylor Kitsch (Friday Night Lights) and Alexander Skarsgård (True Blood), who play "brothers who end up leading the fight for their planet's survival against an otherworldly force." The film is set to release in May 2012.
