RIP Big L

On February 15, 1999, Lamont Coleman aka Big L was shot and killed in Harlem. To commemorate his life and accomplishments, we have compiled some of our favorite Big L videos and music. The potential that Big L had was enormous, and his death was so bittersweet because right before he was shot, L was going to be signed to Roc-a-Fella Records, one of the hottest hip-hop labels at the time. And the Roc's success, as you have seen continued to grow during the years after Big L's passing. It can only be said that L's presence at that label would have made him more appreciated and recognized as a real star with unique flows and lyrics that will really blow your mind. It has been said the Big L is one of the greatest MC's of all time. Agreed.
