As I prepare for my permanent mayorship at the Barclay's Center, the promos continue to roll out- no one draws more attention and fanfare to the new arena than Jay-Z.. The first ever Rocawear commercial is a retrospective of Shawn "Jay-Z" Carter's journey as a kid growing up in the humble projects of Brooklyn aspiring to make music and eventually making history. On that journey, the first business beyond music was the birth of Rocawear. Carter's Rocawear brand represents his prowess as a business man who continues to challenge himself to be more than merely a musician.

Rocawear R+ Evolution now Available

The grey and navy colorways are now available at Dr. Jays for $85. One pair features an all-grey base made up of leather (side panels, heel panel, toe area, tongue) and canvas (ankle area, toe box). The navy blue pair contains leather and canvas in the same places. Also both colorways feature metallic silver laceholders and a durable rubber sole.
