T-Pain comes in to the shop to check out the finished product and honestly the only word I think I can use to describe this vehicle is "gnarly"! rest in peace heath ledger

Bentley Supersports Convertible

Bentley is fast moving from its luxury car tag to that of a supercar brand with the latest release of its Continental Supersports Convertible – the fastest four-seater convertible on the road. The new Supersports has the same 630PS (621bhp/463kW) twin-turbocharged W12 engine as the Continental Supersports Coupé introduced in 2009. Bentley says this is the fastest, most potent drop-top the company has ever built - 0-60mph in 3.9 seconds and a top speed of 202mph. More info/specs.

2011 Audi A8: The first production vehicle equipped with Google Earth

"Among the myriad of technological features coming to the 2011 Audi A8, its revised Multi Media Interface system, complete with the new "MMI touch" feature, will also include the first application of Google Earth in a production car.

"In addition to the traditional hard-disk navigation system, an optional GPRS/EDGE modem is integrated into the MMI nav-plus system allowing a constant stream of information to be downloaded and accessed from Google. Along with GPS-based searches for local services, users can plan out their trips on Google Maps, Google Earth or through Audi's online portal, and navigation data is analyzed and relayed to all the A8's systems, including the automatic cruise control with "Start & Go" functionality, the adaptive lights and the eight-speed automatic gearbox.

"With a SIM card inserted into the A8's MMI setup (or data-enabled phone paired via Bluetooth) Google Earth can provide drivers with a three-dimensional view of their surroundings displayed on the A8's eight-inch LCD display, showing satellite imagery and terrain modeling, along with all the traditional navigation system's functionality both online and off. The integration of Google Earth is set to go live on the A8 sometime in the middle of 2010, soon after Audi's new flagship goes on sale in the spring."

Lamborghini Reventón Unveiled!

Next week at the Frankfurt Motor Show, Lamborghini will reportedly be showing off the roadster version of its million-plus dollar Reventón. Luckily, some images leaked early!

Sporting the same stealth fighter-inspired angular bodywork as the standard Reventón that was unveiled two years ago at the same auto show, the new topless Lambo will reportedly make use of its all-wheel drive system to help the run to 60 in just 3.4 seconds. Top speed is expected to be well over 200 miles per hour, as you'd expect from an Italian supercar with a mid-mounted 650-horsepower V12 powerplant.

2010 Audi R8 5.2 FSI

There's no disputing that the current Audi R8 is already an exceptional sports car. The combination of its stunning appearance, outstanding performance and general livability are plenty to be proud of, but the folks in Ingolstadt weren't quite satisfied. As a result, they've produced the 2010 Audi R8 5.2 FSI - or simply put, a ten-cylinder R8.

By and large, the most significant change lies with the 5.2-liter V-10 lurking behind the cabin. The engine now produces 525 hp and 390 lb-ft of torque, which is reportedly more than enough to move the aluminum-bodied coupe from 0-60 mph in under four seconds and to a top speed of 196 mph. As with the V-8 car, the R8 5.2 FSI Quattro makes use of Audi's legendary all-wheel-drive system, coupled to either a six-speed manual or the R tronic dual-clutch gearbox.

The R8 V-10 wears exclusive 10-spoke 19-inch wheels that feature a unique Y design. It will come with magnetic ride control as standard equipment, and the suspension will be even more tuned for performance than the standard R8.
The ten-cylinder R8 5.2, as has now been revealed, goes for $146,000 with a clutch or $155,100 without, all prices before the $1,200 destination charge. But if that seems hefty, consider that one of the first examples to reach the United States went for $500,000 in a recent charity auction.

Romero Britto x Bentley Continental GT

"While talks of such luxury vehicles such as Bentley conjure up images of refinement and elegance, the heralrded British carmaker has gone against the grain with their partnership involving Romero Britto. With the Bentley Continental GT as the canvas, the Brazilian pop artist was given the chance of a lifetime to make his mark on the luxury vehicle. The work will be seen at his upcoming “Come to my World” exhibition in Berlin. The design of the car itself features a number of symbols including stars, a happy flower, hearts and an all-over print of squiggle lines. The “Come to my World” exhibition will begin July 10th and run until September 6th as hosted by the Automobil Forum Unter den Linden in cooperation with the Mensing Gallery. Following the exhibition, the car will be auctioned off in honor of the Nathalie Todenhöfer Foundation for multiple sclerosis as well as Best Buddies, an initiative for integrating the mentally disabled into society."
Below is actually the artwork from a birthday cake for Michael Jackson, done by Britto. In 2003, Jackson opened up his Neverland Ranch for a charity benefit in honor of the pop artist. Britto also did the artwork for MJ's RMA humanitarian award.

2010 BMW X1 Photos Leaked

Although it is isn't slated to be officially revealed until this fall's Frankfurt Auto Show, these are the first official shots of the X1 that have leaked out on the web, apparently because of German magazine FOCUS online. The X1 appears much like a shrunken X5 mixed with styling cues from the bull-nosed 7-Series, 5-Series Gran Turismo, and of course, last year's X1 Concept.

The inside is typical Bimmer fare as well, with a sober but handsome and well-screwed-together look. The usual accoutrements are present in the photo models' driver oriented instrument panels, including iDrive, USB ports, and thumb-shifters for the automatic.

The CUV is expected to launch in EuropeNo word yet on what models we'll see in the U.S. just yet, but the X1 is expected to launch in autumn exclusively paired with all-wheel drive, but rear-wheel drive versions are expected to come on line soon thereafter. Check out the gallery below.

The Ferrari California: Have You Seen One?

The Ferrari California is a grand touring sports car that was launched by Ferrari at the 2008 Paris Motor Show. It is a two door "2+2" hard top convertible. The California is powered by front-mid mounted gasoline direct injection 4.3 L (260 cu in) V8, sending a claimed 338 kW (460 PS; 453 hp) to the rear wheels.[1] The car revives the "California" name used for the late-1950s Ferrari 250 GT.

The California represents a number of firsts for Ferrari:

  • The first front engined Ferrari with a V8
  • The first to feature a 7-speed dual clutch transmission, it is the only option as opposed to a traditional Ferrari gated-manual
  • The first with a folding metal roof
  • The first with multi-link rear suspension
  • The first with direct petrol injection.
0-60 in 4.0 Seconds... Tops out at 193mph.. To be priced around $200,000
