Don't miss this new project by Queens' own Action Bronson & the multi-talented Party Supplies of Fool's Gold Records (we've been fans for a while and can't wait to see what happens when PS inevitably becomes a household name). We usually don't post many album/mixtape covers, and reserve that for out facebook album but we've been patiently waiting for this to come out and the cover is just too dope not to post (shout out to Dust La Rock, the illustrations are on point).. Expect to hear Action mostly spit solo over PS production with minimal features, save for Roc Marciano, Das Racist & Mayhem Lauren. The mixtape is mixed by Harry Fraud and presented in collaboration with Reebok Classics.. Action Bronson & Party Supplies have crafted a hypnotic joint that takes us to the streets of Hunts Point in 1993. Inspired by the classic HBO documentary of the same name, Action offers up a shocking first hand account from the stunted lives of streetwalkers: Cyndi, a prostitute addicted to crack, Silk, a violent, misogynistic pimp and Ramón, a former athlete turned junkie. Directed by Rik Cordero.

Action Bronson & Party Supplies present "Blue Chips" [VIDEO]

Blue Chips is an off the cuff, spontaneous project that started as a vibe session one winter afternoon and spiraled into a 17 song dusted journey through the warped comedic minds of Action Bronson and the prodigy producer/artist known simply as Party Supplies.
This journey includes appearances by Roc Marci, Meyhem Lauren and Das Racist and was recorded in the confines of Party Supplies Williamsburg chalet. It's a project as opposed to a mixtape or an album and sits in a nether world somewhere between the two.
Most of all it's a moment in time made in a 3 week period of hanging out at Party Supplies house. In between cheese plates, snaps and spliffs the 2 artists came up with this testament of creativity and spontaneity.
Also, if you're in the NYC area this weekend, catch Party Supplies live at Tammany Hall for L.E.S. Is More..

Party Supplies & Ducky Perform Live @ BYOBBBQ (Brooklyn, NY) [VIDEO]
Party Supplies and Ducky were two of the featured artists at the 2nd Annual Bring Your Own Blogger BBQ which was held at The Morgan in Brooklyn. Luckily I ended up going and I had such a great time (given the free food and tequila), I ended up staying until the end of the event. Party Supplies has been in the music scene for a while and recently switched his sound over from hip-hop to pop. He was just signed to Fool's Gold and has an album dropping soon. Ducky also has a very unique sound and I thought she was great live (the bunny mascot was definitely a plus).
