Action Bronson x Party Supplies - Blue Chips [Artwork/Tracklist]
Don't miss this new project by Queens' own Action Bronson & the multi-talented Party Supplies of Fool's Gold Records (we've been fans for a while and can't wait to see what happens when PS inevitably becomes a household name). We usually don't post many album/mixtape covers, and reserve that for out facebook album but we've been patiently waiting for this to come out and the cover is just too dope not to post (shout out to Dust La Rock, the illustrations are on point).. Expect to hear Action mostly spit solo over PS production with minimal features, save for Roc Marciano, Das Racist & Mayhem Lauren. The mixtape is mixed by Harry Fraud and presented in collaboration with Reebok Classics.. Peep their new video for "Hooker's At The Point" and don't forget to check back here on Tuesday to grab "Blue Chips" in it's entirety!

Action Bronson & Party Supplies - Hookers At The Point [MUSIC VIDEO]
youtube link
Action Bronson & Party Supplies have crafted a hypnotic joint that takes us to the streets of Hunts Point in 1993. Inspired by the classic HBO documentary of the same name, Action offers up a shocking first hand account from the stunted lives of streetwalkers: Cyndi, a prostitute addicted to crack, Silk, a violent, misogynistic pimp and Ramón, a former athlete turned junkie. Directed by Rik Cordero.

Action Bronson & Party Supplies present "Blue Chips" [VIDEO]
youtube link
Blue Chips is an off the cuff, spontaneous project that started as a vibe session one winter afternoon and spiraled into a 17 song dusted journey through the warped comedic minds of Action Bronson and the prodigy producer/artist known simply as Party Supplies.
This journey includes appearances by Roc Marci, Meyhem Lauren and Das Racist and was recorded in the confines of Party Supplies Williamsburg chalet. It's a project as opposed to a mixtape or an album and sits in a nether world somewhere between the two.
Most of all it's a moment in time made in a 3 week period of hanging out at Party Supplies house. In between cheese plates, snaps and spliffs the 2 artists came up with this testament of creativity and spontaneity.
Also, if you're in the NYC area this weekend, catch Party Supplies live at Tammany Hall for L.E.S. Is More..

Dinner With Action Bronson & Statik Selektah (pt. 3) [VIDEO]

The dining and continues as Action stops for a second serving with producer Harry Fraud. Watch as Action display his Spanish language skills and talks sending back food at restaurants. Harry and Action drop gems of knowledge throughout this clip such as "you've got to braise the leeks and the cheeks." This dinner was certainly "Well Done."
Action Bronson & Statik Selektah's collabo album, "Well Done" is in stores now. Purchase "Well Done" on iTunes: http://itunes.apple.com/us/album/well-done/id473284177.

Dinner With Action Bronson & Statik Selektah (pts. 1 & 2) [VIDEO]
Part 1
In Part 1 of this web series, hilarity ensues when Action Bronson and Statik Selektah hit the town for an upscale Italian dinner. Somewhere in between smoking a Trippy Stick in the restaurant and debating whether drinking 40 oz's through a straw gets you drunker, Action and Statik enjoyed a nice meal. In part 2 below, Action discusses his favorite cuisine, culinary skills, what's playing in his kitchen, the rumor that he works at an Indian restaurant in Queens, the incident that got him fired from the Mets, and much more. Plus you don't want to miss Action's list of his "Top 5" MCs of all time. Well Done hits stores worldwide November 22nd. Pre-Order the album now: (itunes link).
