In part 1 of our sit down with Elliott Wilson we talk about his intro to the internet. He explains how XXL taught him about the blogger world, and turning to social networking sites to "document the culture". We then talk about expanding the YN brand. He says that anything that he does expands the YN brand, which inevitably expands the other brands around him (i.e. Rap Radar, RESPECT, etc.). Staying on topic, we discuss the rumor that he will be taking over the morning show on Shade 45.

Here's an interview with ex-editor in chief of XXL & founder of rapradar.com, Elliot Wilson.

Alot of changed in one year. In Feburary of last year, I had the unique privilege of interviewing Elliott Wilson before RapRadar launched.

Fast forward a year later, blogs from Jay-Z, interviews with Eminem, Lupe and 50 expressing their discontent with Elliott Wilson and the site, RapRadar has become one of today's premium rap blogs.

So it only made sense to speak to Elliott this year to discuss among other things, the achievements of the site.

We speaking on the blogging grind, the fast pace nature of online Hip Hop and the challenge of it.

And finally to end part one, we speak on bloggers getting to personal and catching feelings, which made me think of this..."Sensitve blogs, y'all all need hugs".
