Beastie Boys, LL Cool J, Whodini, Run DMC @ The Raising Hell Tour (London, 1986) #RIPMCA [VIDEO]
R.I.P MCA - Adam Yauch 1964-2012
Philanthropist, Hip-Hop pioneer and Beastie Boys' member Adam Yauch passed away this morning at the age of 47 after a three year battle with cancer.. We would first like to thank Adam for his contributions to hip hop, the culture wouldn't be the same without the Beastie Boys. As a Brooklynite this hits hard and I remember the Beasties were the first rap group I was realy allowed to listen to since they were Jews too.. :) Condolences and prayers go out to the family and friends of the late legend MCA.
Moments ago, Tim Westwood shared some rare footage from 1986 Raising Hell Tour London featuring Beastie Boys, LL Cool J, Whodini & Run-DMC with crowd surfing, fighting, bottles thrown & crazy live performances in front of a hostile crowd!
