Public Enemy frontman Chuck D turns 50 today along with fellow P.E. 'minister of information' Professor Griff (both born Aug. 1, 1960). Happy Birthday to these two pioneers in hip hop culture. Public Enemy was so influential to American culture; it was more than just music, it was a movement.
