VIDEO: Nas & Damian Marley 'Distant Relatives' Unreleased Studio Sessions

When Nas and Damian Marley originally stepped into the studio for their 'Distant Relatives' sessions, the rap-reggae duo only had intentions of recording an EP worth of songs. But the musical chemistry between two of music's most prodigal sons was so natural and easy-going that it spawned a 14-track album. "All of it was on the spot," Nas admits in the archived studio footage the BoomBox has obtained from the 'Distant Relatives' studio sessions. And while the duo's messages are strong Nas says he's not trying to save the world. "I'm trying to save me in my head," he charges.
